Garden Love ...

We moved into our house a few years ago and it was all weeds and sandy soil at the time (we live on VERY OLD sand dunes.) After some beautiful winter rain, lots of compost and worm tea amendments, and Lake getting older and lending a hand, the plants are finally beginning to feel at home. There is nothing like working in the garden with your family and eating homegrown food together to make you realize how amazing life is.

Thank you Mother Nature!

Below are some random pics of wildflowers. Veggie/fruit pictures including tomatoes, corn, squash, herbs, blueberries, peas, kale, spinach, carrots, lettuce, garlic, lemons, peppers, and onions.
Mom and Dad in shirts we didn't plan on wearing at the same time, but we both love (they help us look the part.) And the little one helping out (you can never start them too young =)

  2. Thanks! We got the shirts at an Ecofarm conference a while back. I'll find out who makes them and send you the info. They are organic cotton with soy based ink, I think. Well made ...
