IRELAND???

When the rains come in February and March the central coast turns GREEN. I try to get people to visit at this time because it's so beautiful. But it's also the rainy season and most people don't come to California for rain.

I, on the other hand, fell in love with this area during the rainy season when I came out to explore the possibility of moving here. It was a VERY wet and stormy year ... some small twisters even touched ground!! With my green colored glasses I thought the emerald hills would stay as they were all year long. But soon the golden waves of grain took form through foggy nights and Indian summers ... until the next winter and spring when my Irish hills returned.

Of course I now love all of the crazy seasons in this area (except maybe the extreme wind =) But there's something special about green rolling hills in the spring time ...
