The bathrooms are coming together quickly after the plumber spent a few days at the house (and John spent many days installing drywall and green board.) This weekend is TILE TIME and then the plumber is back to install the sinks and toilets. It's all happening so fast!!
I also posted a picture below of some original lath and plaster in the house before it was covered with dry wall. I think it's so cool. So much work compared to the present process!!
AND when I walked into the bathroom and saw the green board I decided the color looked awesome!! HA! So I found a similar color and we're going with it in the bathrooms and the exterior of the house (perhaps a lighter shade in Lake's room and the kitchen.) The other green wasn't working as well with the beach theme and we decided to go with a solid wood front door so we're using wood tones instead of red on the door and window boxes. I feel like this color makes everything more cohesive and since it's already in the bathroom I know it looks great!!
I guess I'll have to say our color is backer board green. LOL!! (The matched color is actually named "Etched Glass" - interesting.)
