New countertops. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!! I can't believe how awesome they are and how much they change the room. They are so perfect we decided not to spoil them with water and a faucet - we're just going with the showroom style instead. We can wash dishes in the bathroom or something.
Kidding. We're installing the faucets later. (And by "we" I mean Mark and the plumber, of course.)
We actually have a lot of counter space now since we extended the length of the countertop on the side nook. We're going to place a recycle basket there, and open shelving above.
Did I say I love it??
Oh, and I finished painting the doors and drawers. I had to raise them on boxes to get the side grooves. Now all we have to do is install the hardware and put them on. YEAH!!
