On my trip to Texas (see below) I was able to visit with my family for a short while, including a mother's day brunch with the gals =) It was so good to see everyone but hard for it to be such a short visit. But we're aiming for a longer trip with extended family this summer (including John and Lake!) It's hard being so far away from home ...
