Lake is a busy little two year old (2 yrs 8 mos precisely.) I have posted some recent pictures below. I'll have to post video of some of her other activities like talking, singing, and saying how old she is while holding up the peace sign =) But other favorites in Lake's life include:
- Taking bubble baths
- Playing with her babies and putting them to bed
- Dancing in her first "toot toot" as she calls it
- Hiding in empty boxes (we've had lots of them)
- Sneaking on mom and dad's computer
- Playing dress up with anything she can find and running away from mommy when I try to take pictures of her
- Hiding easter eggs, over and over (we had a rainy easter day so we were in "jammies" most of the time)
- Cuddling by the fire with mommy, daddy, and manny bear
- Playing and visiting with friends (It was great to see you Moriah, Mallory, and Ryan!!)
- Carrying things in her first backpack (or "pack pack" as she calls it), which she picked out all by herself
- Squeezing into baskets
- Playing on the beach, especially one of our daily spots in Morro Bay where we search for sea creatures in the tide pools
- Spending one-on-one time with daddy while mommy works (she LOVES her daddy - even though she calls him "John" half the time =)
- Building things with mommy and daddy
- Eating popsicles or icecream
- While I can't say she actually loves potty training yet, she does love wearing her knew undies. We're still working on the potty training bit though ...
- Watering the garden
- Reading books, especially before bed
- And trying new foods, like tacos!!
